DAF - Kurai vs Shinra

Hooo boy guess im the first to submit for the champions tourny, that makes me nervous haha. Not to mention my opponent happen to SOMEHOW be the winner of the elimination round, what luck is that!? But hopefuly you guys will like this, i went all out on this one, lmao

Anyway This is for the Champion Tournament

Episode 1 Battle Story: Miasmic Prision (I see some people music to their little fights so heres what i think works for mine ;D) [link]


The Gates open as the 2 contestants walk out Kurai's tail wagging with excitement and a thirst to fight, as the other opponent walks out from, it is night time so all She can hear is the heavy foot steps of armor getting nearer and nearer. Her battle ready opponent Shinra reveals through the moon lit colosseum, a beautiful young woman with glowing red orange hair and what seems to be feathers? Knowing the night will give Kurai an advantage, she's itching to get things started as she shows her fangs with a murky grin on her face to Shinra. Both fighters readily await the starting horn through the roaring crowd.


*horn blows*

She's Off! Kurai begins the battle with swiftness, showing acrobatic moves as she shows off to the crowd as she rushes towards Shinra. Shinra stands her guard, the lighting not in her favor as she awaits Kurai's attack, her lance starts to glow, Kurai takes notice of this and attacks from afar with a few throwing knives. Shinra blocks them with ease, as she sends a jolt of fiery energy back at Kurai. Kurai Dodges it but surprised that her attack was blocked so easily, without a second more to think Shinra takes on the offensive and thrusts her lance repeatedly at Kurai, as she flips and dodges the fury of attacks waiting for an opening to strike.

She's pretty quick Kurai thinks, as she flips back and gets a distance, she tries to come up with a plan, but Shinra doesn't give her the moment. Shinra charges in jabbing her lance into the ground for some spring action as she takes to the air and dives down towards Kurai like a flaming meteor. Kurai acts fast pulling a smoke bomb out of her pouch, quickly throwing it at the falling Shinra and another on the ground as she disappears in the darkness.

Shinra lands coughing up the smoke that was hurled at her, as her yellow eyes glow she looks around looking for Kurai, but through all the smoke she can't see a thing. Quicklu Kurai takes action this is the time to strike, wielding her dagger she uses her shadow imagery technique creating clones of herself as they rush Shinra. Kurai lays low as her doubles take on Shinra waiting for a chance to strike, some take blood, cutting at her legs and her armor trying to wear Shinra down. Shinra is indeed a powerful opponent she wont go down easily, even with all the clones atacking her she stands her ground valiantly fending them off trying to find the real one. In a burst of flames she disperses the clones but another way quickly take their place, but this time they upped the danger, each clone gets in a specific formation and throws down a purple poison bomb to the ground, creating a Miasmic barrier.

Kurai still awaiting in the shadows amazed at how Shinra is still standing even from the poison, she won't go down, though as long as Shinra doesn't know the secret behind the clones she will be fighting until she can't fight any longer, but Shinra doesn't give in as she mercilessly attacks the clones coughing as she inales the poison, Kurai observes thinking maybe her Phoenix blood is keeping her stable than the usual person. But Kurai thinks to herself (the secret behind my clones are each one is missing a piece of me i.e clothing, accessorie, lets see how long she can last before she figures that out) as she grins evilly behind the cloud of miasma


Even though Shinra is insanely formiddable and strong can she last this endless wave of attacks? Will she figure out the real Kurai? What is Kurai planning... FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON D. B. Z... wait... DAF!!


Well we're not suppose to draw our characters winning or anything unfair, so i used minor tactics to prolong it til the end, Shinra is a pretty cool character and she looks really powerful, more than Kurai in power which is why Kurai uses the darkness of the nighttime fight and numbers to grab an advantage. The picture I draw is of the clones attacking Shinra in the miasma field, you can see Shinra holding her own against them as she impales one of the clones, but if u look closely into the darkness you will see the real Kurai lying in wait
